Hello, and welcome.
My name is Jasmine, and I'm a registered Counsellor and member of the Australian Counselling Association.
At Flourish Counselling, I offer a warm, empathetic and nurturing space where you can feel heard, understood and supported.
Life can sometimes bring unexpected challenges that shake our sense of safety, disrupt our lives and leave us feeling anxious, overwhelmed and unsure of how to move forward.
My passion is to support you through these difficult times, meeting you where you are and helping you feel genuinely understood and cared for. Together, we can explore practical strategies to help you cope day to day, to re-build a sense of safety and confidence, and create the capacity to move forward.
My hope is that, with the right support, you will be able to feel more present in your relationships, more engaged with life, and have energy and headspace to move towards the people, goals and experiences that matter most to you. Essentially, feeling able to flourish in your own life again.
I offer individual counselling sessions that are tailored to you and your needs.
This can include using ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) TFACT (Trama-focused ACT) CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), or Solution Focused Therapy, to support a wide range of concerns, and provide nervous system and trauma informed care.
I especially love supporting people who are facing situations or circumstances in life that they are unable to change. My aim is to help you feel understood, cared for, and take away useful skills that can help you to cope with your challenges, build a sense of safety within yourself, and live a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling to you.
Sessions are available face-to-face, either in person in my Bendigo based office (see below for a tour of the space) or online via zoom sessions.
About me
I live in Bendigo with my husband, our kids and our fur babies.
I was drawn to the counselling profession due to my own life experiences, having learned helpful strategies, and been given guidance and support to heal from painful experiences and learn to live with difficult circumstances. I have lived experience of dealing with severe anxiety, grief, facing life threatening health situations, caring for and supporting my husband through his on-going cancer journey and the loss of my brother to suicide.
These experiences have given me deeper understanding and empathy for the unique experiences of people who are carers, people living with cancer, those who are grieving, those who have experienced sibling loss, people living with stressful health challenges, and experiencing anxiety that limits your life.

I'd love to hear about what you're going through, what you would like to get from counselling, and answer any questions you may have.
I understand attending counselling is an important investment and I want you to receive the best care and support possible.
